Rubbish. The story was wildly implausible, and I found it hard to like either of the main characters. I read the good reviews, and so I kept waiting for this book to suddenly become a good read. Sadly it never did, but remained an endless cycle of two people having sex with almost anyone who crossed their path. Save your money and more importantly, your time, which is much better spent reading virtually anything else.Product details

Poor Paige always seems to get stuck in very odd and funny predicaments. Her relationships with men always seem to end in a disaster. I loved the secret missions Paige and her BFF, Poppie, went on.
Alec is the one for her and she has felt it since their first encounter together in a barn while judging a cow. But life always seems to keep them moving in different directions. The moments they do collide, it just doesn't seem like the right time yet for them.
The story takes place over a span of a decade and focuses on Paige's adventures thru life and her missed connections with Alex. But no worries, there is plenty of humor along the way and a HEA.
This is a book about a love that withstood many obstacles! Alec and Paige are a great couple and getting to "grow up" with them through this story was a true delight! Job well done!!!
This light hearted story of Paige and her misadventures that lead her to the man of her dreams had me laughing out loud.
This poor girl had absolutely no luck in dating. From being covered in cow poop, and coming face to face with an "excited" gorilla, to getting stuck naked on the neighbor's roof she went through it all. There were missed opportunities, and heartbreak, but it all led her to finally realizing who her heart really belonged to.
I absolutely loved this book. Romantic comedies always put me in a great mood, and I'd have to say, this was one of the best ones I've read. It had me laughing and smiling, the whole time. I couldn't put it down, and found myself sneaking off to squeeze in just one more chapter before I had to deal with real life.
This was my first book by Charlotte Fallowfield. It came highly recommend by one of my book besties. I cannot wait to read more from this author.
It was a cute easy read. No soul searching or deep character development. Girl meets boy, pines over him, doesn't think herself good enough even though she turns out to be supermodel material. He loves her too, but their timing is always off. She get into awkward situations on her journey of life trying to get her Prince.
I receive notices of free reads from Love Kissed Book Bargains, after joining an author FaceBook party a few months prior. This most recent offering listed this story. I thought it read a little funny and lighthearted, but the "blurb" about Bridgette Jones comparison, turned me off--I think Bridgette Jones is a total twit. I digress-I decided to give this story a try and I am so glad I did; It's laugh out loud funny and I couldn't wait to read what happened next. It does get a little bogged down in spots regarding angst and self doubt, but it also starts when she is 16 and he is 20. I usually do not care for a YA, but this does move into adulthood and still made me laugh. If you're like me and a new author is needed for a change of pace, and even if I don't get all the English/British words and meanings, the context helps and I will read this book more than once. A new-to-me writer just became one I will follow for other stories. Thank Ms. Fallowfield and brava.
I will admit that upon reading this book I just couldn't get into it so I stepped away. After a few weeks I decided to give it another go. I'm so glad I did!!! I love a good rom com book and this is one of the best ones I've read! Full of English wit and charm we follow Paige 'calamity' Taylor, who is utterly in love with Alec. From their very first encounter Paige shows us her inability to go without disaster when it comes to being around Alec. She pines for Alec, however, circumstances in both their lives keep them apart. So what does Paige do to help get over her one true love? She goes out on dates. What ensues throughout her dating life is absolutely hysterical!! I was laughing at the English sense of humor, the wit, the charm, and just overall disasters! Give this one a go if you're in the mood for a rom com!
Unfortunately, this book just wasn't for me. While there were some very funny situations that Paige got herself into, way, WAY too much of the book was disgusting and raunchy, so much so that it distracted from the plot. More than once, I cringed at the author's cavalier attitude toward sex, even though the character was supposed to be a virgin who'd never even so much as kissed a boy. It was really too bad since I was looking forward to a good romantic comedy and though I gave it a try, I couldn't finish the book because it was too offensive. I couldn't honestly recommend this book and won't be reading more from the author.
